Acceptance of Terms

By accessing omairdev.co (the "Website") or using any applications published by Muhammad Umair, including meetlyNow and Meetly (the "Apps"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Apps.

Description of Services

The Website serves as a professional portfolio for Muhammad Umair, a software engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal, specialising in iOS development, location intelligence, and mobile systems engineering.

The Apps are iOS applications that provide location-based services including live ETA tracking, equitable meeting-point calculation, group coordination, and BLE proximity detection. Some Apps may be in beta (e.g., distributed via Apple TestFlight) and are subject to change.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, design, code, graphics, logos, and the omairdev brand — is the property of Muhammad Umair and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The software architecture, spatial algorithms (including equitable routing and A* pathfinding implementations), and system designs described or implemented in the Apps are original works. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any App without explicit written permission.

Open-source components used in the Apps or Website are subject to their respective licences.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Website or Apps for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the admin panel, server infrastructure, or associated databases.

You may not scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Website without permission.

You may not interfere with the Apps by transmitting false location data, spoofing GPS coordinates, or manipulating BLE signals.

You may not use the Apps to track, surveil, or monitor any person without their knowledge and consent.

Beta and TestFlight Apps

Certain Apps such as meetlyNow may be distributed through Apple TestFlight as beta software. Beta Apps are provided for testing and feedback purposes and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or instability.

By using a beta App, you acknowledge that it is pre-release software and agree not to rely on it for critical or safety-sensitive purposes. Beta availability may be revoked at any time without notice.

Location Services

The Apps use CoreLocation, MapKit, and related iOS frameworks to provide location-based features. Accuracy of location data, ETAs, meeting points, and routing depends on GPS signal quality, network conditions, and iOS system behaviour.

I do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of location services. The equitable meeting-point algorithm provides a best-effort suggestion and should not be relied upon for emergency, medical, or safety-critical decisions.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of location features complies with local laws and regulations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

I do not warrant that the Website or Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muhammad Umair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Website or Apps.

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory.

Third-Party Services

The Website and Apps may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, including Apple (App Store, TestFlight, MapKit), Microsoft (Azure AD B2C, SignalR), Sentry, LinkedIn, and GitHub. I am not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.

Changes to These Terms

I reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Website or Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
